Exceptional savoir-faire
What if your eyewear didn't come from a collection, but from a dialogue, an exchange? At Lunetier Ludovic, bespoke means creating a frame that's just like you - comfortable to the point of oblivion, balanced down to the smallest detail, true to the way you are. Whether for optical or sunglasses.
Founded in 2015, Lunetier Ludovic is a Maison d'Artisans, the only one in Belgium to offer truly bespoke eyewear, handcrafted to a rare high standard. Every frame that leaves our workshop in Brussels' Sablon embodies the expertise of our team - knowledge passed down and refined over the years, recognised among the best in the world, dedicated to contemporary, deeply personal elegance.
A place where time slows down
Nestled in the heart of Brussels' Sablon district, our boutique-atelier is a natural part of the neighborhood's artistic fabric. There's no rush here. Every detail has been thought out to create a space that's both lively and peaceful, just like our work. It's not just a store, but a meeting place - between tradition and creation, between gesture and exchange. People come here to discover materials, try on models, discuss style or simply take the time to imagine the right frame together. A sober, attentive experience that leaves room for what really matters.
Our story
Founded in 2015 by Ludovic Elens, Lunetier Ludovic is a Maison d'Artisans specialising in bespoke, half-measure eyewear with our own Jazz Collection. In our workshop in the heart of Brussels, we design and meticulously handcraft glasses frames. Each pair begins with a conversation - an exploration of the customer's needs, style, desires and personality. Guided by this understanding, we transform the raw materials into eyewear as unique as the wearer.
Each frame embodies our Maison d'Artisans' balance of timeless craftsmanship and refined contemporary aesthetics. Every detail - from angles to proportions to technical elements - is perfected with care and precision. Rather than following trends or aiming for volume, at Lunetier Ludovic we focus on creating eyewear designed to be both beautiful and comfortable, for many years to come.
Trusted by clients throughout Belgium, the Maison’s reputation now increasingly extends across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. And this is only the beginning of Lunetier Ludovic’s journey, with an enduring commitment to elevating Belgian craftsmanship and sharing its subtle elegance with a global audience.
Our team
Behind every Lunetier Ludovic frame is a team driven by a shared quest for excellence. Each craftsman brings their expertise and exacting standards to create eyewear that reflects the uniqueness of the wearer. Far beyond simply meeting a need, we seek to raise expectations, offering not just frames, but a true experience of craftsmanship, blending comfort, style and personalisation. Every detail is meticulously crafted to offer our customers an experience that exceeds their expectations, while honoring the timeless, refined vision of our Maison.
Materials with a story
With us, even the materials have something to say. Some of the woods we use are over a hundred years old, handed down from generation to generation by craftsmen. Buffalo horn, lively and naturally comfortable, comes from India. Acetate is made in Italy, our nickel silver is soft to the eye and to the touch, and aluminum offers precise lightness. We also sometimes work with solid gold. Each material is chosen for its quality, its origin, and the way it can be shaped. Nothing is left to chance.
RECOGNITION AND PARTNERSHIPS
Over the years, our Maison d'Artisans has won awards for its know-how and the excellence of its craftsmanship. Prestigious institutions such as the Michelangelo Foundation have highlighted our work. We have also benefited from the support of the SofinaBoël Fund for Education and Talent, which promotes the training of young talent in Belgium. In addition, we sit on associations and committees of excellence, alongside other ateliers and Maisons that share our values and passion for exceptional work.
