Nestled in the heart of the Sablon district in Brussels, our boutique workshop is naturally woven into the artistic fabric of the neighbourhood. Here, there is no rush. Materials with a story

At Ludovic Elens, even the materials have a story to tell. Some of the wood we use is over a hundred years old, passed down from generation to generation by artisans. The buffalo horn, lively and naturally comfortable, comes from India. The acetate is made in Italy, our nickel silver is soft to the eye and to the touch, and the aluminum offers a precise lightness. We also sometimes work with solid gold. Each material is chosen for its quality, its origin, and the way it can be shaped. Nothing is left to chance.

Our story

Founded in 2015 by Ludovic Elens, our workshop is a Maison d'Artisans specializing in the manufacture of Bespoke eyewear, semi-customized through our Jazz Collection. In our workshop located in the heart of Brussels, we design meticulously handcrafted frames. At Ludovic Elens, each pair begins with a conversation—an exploration of the customer's needs, style, desires, and personality. Guided by this understanding, we transform the most suitable materials into glasses as unique as those who will wear them.

Each frame embodies the balance of our Maison d'Artisans: between timeless craftsmanship and elegant contemporary aesthetics. Every detail—from the angles and proportions to the technical elements—is perfected with care and precision. Rather than following trends or aiming for volume, at lunetier Ludovic , we focus on creating glasses designed to be both beautiful and comfortable for many years to come.
