A journey where English elegance meets Belgian savoir-faire
A collaboration born of shared values - precision, expertise and an uncompromising quest for excellence.
For the first time, Lunetier Ludovic has teamed up with Scabal, renowned for its exceptional fabrics and long tradition of bespoke tailoring. We are proud to share a limited-edition collection of genuine horn sunglasses - thoughtfully designed, handcrafted and driven by the values that unite our two Maisons.
This collaboration is more than just the union of two brands. It's based on a shared vision - an eye for detail, a respect for materials and a belief that quality stands on its own. The result: a collection designed for those who look beyond appearances and are interested in how things are made.
Scabal x Lunetier Ludovic: the Collection
Salcombe, Cromer, Frinton and Torquay. Each frame is named after an English seaside town, chosen for its unique atmosphere. The elegance of Salcombe, the raw beauty of Cromer, the discreet charm of Frinton and the Riviera spirit of Torquay - four atmospheres that have inspired a collection where balance, character and precision are expressed with subtlety.
The story behind the collaboration...
At Lunetier Ludovic, collaboration is never taken lightly. Our work is precise, slow by nature, and based on a way of doing things that leaves little room for compromise. So when we choose to collaborate with another Maison, it must reflect more than a shared aesthetic - it must reflect a shared way of thinking.
This project with Scabal was born of conversations, shared passion and mutual respect. Scabal's long-standing commitment to excellence, in both fabric and bespoke tailoring, echoes our own values: care in the choice of materials, attention to gesture and proportion, and the conviction that true refinement takes time.
The sunglasses are entirely handcrafted in our Brussels workshop from genuine horn, shaped and polished over many hours. Each pair is fitted with high-performance Hoya lenses, chosen for their optical clarity and comfort in bright light. From the richness of the material to the subtle details of the silhouette, everything has been thought through - without ever overdoing it.
Salcombe, Cromer, Frinton and Torquay aren't just names. They are atmospheres. Echoes of the English coast, guided not by nostalgia, but by a certain sensibility: discreet, assertive and naturally elegant.
This collaboration is not a break with the past. It's an extension of what we've been advocating from the outset - a way of doing things the right way, for those who know how to make a difference.
